We are getting ready for our SXSW excursion... except we're not really going anywhere, maybe like 2 miles from our homes. Here's the dealio:

Well the weekend was totally dope. Both shows went real well and were lots of fun to play.

Saw Derek Trucks last night with Max y Sasha at La Zona Rosa. SUHHWEEEEET! Derek is so musical and awesome.

We had a BADASS productive practice today for the show, its shaping up to be one of our best yet! As you can see me and chris were purdy excited.

Whooo First Blues Mafia blog. Look for more of these frequently. We'll all try to update regularly with thoughts, band news, general BS, stuff were working on etc. And since i took time to make this thing i thought i'd be self indulgent and post a pic of my lovely new axe.....which i'll be playing at our ALBUM RELEASE PARTY this saturday at Jovita's show starts at 7ish with The Fireants and The Daze. We are really stoked, the album has been a long time coming , we're really excited for everyone to hear it! Okay enough blogging.
